Byers Park and Recreation District is focused on building collaborations with community members, Special Districts, and businesses to raise funds to cover the cost of our 4th of July Celebration Weekend. Activities include CPRA rodeo, Independence Festival that includes a parade, street fair, vendors, a live band, activities for kids, community Breakfast, quilt show, a community soft ball/kick ball tournament, and firework show. In order to host all of these events, we are asking for your support. Please consider supporting our events by donating cash or checks to Byers Park and Recreation District. In exchange, you will receive excellent community exposure and advertising on our website/social media, announcements during the events, and signage at our 4th of July events.

BYERS INDEPENDENCE FESTIVAL
July 4th, 2025 - 10:00am-3:00pm @ Byers Community Park
This annual celebration of freedom and unity transforms the corridor into a kaleidoscope of patriotic fervor, drawing families, friends, and patriots of all ages to revel in the spirit of independence. Games for Kids, Car Displays, Live Band, Food, Fun and Music!. This festival takes place after the annual 4th of July parade. The event draws over a 1000 people.
BYERS COMMUNITY BALL TOURNAMENT AND FIREWORKS DISPLAY
July 5th, 2025 - 5pm - 10pm @ Quint Valley Fairgrounds
Get ready for an action-packed evening at our Community Ball Tournament Night & Fireworks Display! Watch local family and community teams compete for the top trophy in softball, volleyball, and kickball tournaments. The excitement builds up as the night culminates in a breathtaking fireworks display at 9 PM, drawing thousands of spectators from the I-70 corridor.

Gather your team and join the fun! We’re calling on church groups, businesses, and families to compete in our Community Ball Tournament, featuring softball, kickball, and volleyball. Battle it out for the coveted Top Ball Trophy and year-long bragging rights! Get creative with custom team shirts and enjoy an exciting afternoon and evening of competition, food trucks, vendors, and community spirit. The tournament culminates with our spectacular fireworks display, making it the ultimate ball game event of the year!
